“Opus X #45 Faure”
Most recent production as of January 2025. Arranged from “Piano Quartet No.2“, a classical masterpiece by Gabriel Faure. The “groove” original composition contains was rediscovered to completely transform into a Rock instrumental in 21st Century. Adding Bill Bruford and Chris Squire types of rhythm section, together with iconic synthesizers by Lyle Mays, the song will be building up to a metal crescendo. Truly a fusion of prog rock, Jazz, and classical music. Hoping Faure will like it hearing from the heaven.
“Say Goodbye, Say Goodnight”
Starting from a smooth “tropical” feel transforming into a Prog Opera. Some familiar sounds of renown Prog Rock artists are sampled and developed. You can name them!
“Cantabile”
Amalgamation of Prog Rock, Jazz/Funk and Classical Music. A smooth Half Time Shuffle groove takes you to Operatic expansions associated with some Rap beats.
“Rhapsody”
Respectful adaptation of “Concerto No. 2 for Piano and Orchestra, Op. 18 in C Minor: Allegro scherzando” by Sergei Rachmaninoff. Additional composition and arrangement by Kiyoshi Kuga.
“One Hundred Years of Solitude”
The song title came from one of the greatest novels written by García Márquez. Prog Rock plus Opera and Disco (!?), ending up with this unique piece of “Dance Music“. Enjoy!
“Overture”
The symphony begins with brief “Homage” for “My Favorite Things” by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, and “Thunderbirds Are Go! (Main Theme)” by Barry Gray.
“Demoniac”
Slightly old material reflecting my direct orientation at that time toward Prog Rock utilizing Synth solo on odd meter climax.
“Troubadour”
A short piece features a Cello solo reflecting romantic memories of a long time ago in a space far, far away….
“The View”
Alone on the vast terrains looking beyond the horizon. We have all been here before.
